Yup! Did the whole install myself. Its quite a job but fairly simple due to the fact that nothing needs to be fabricated, everything simply pieces together. My fuel consumption before the turbo was about 18/24 MPG (city/highway). After the turbo it was 14/14 MPG. Also keep in mind that I had increased gearing which may have attributed to some of the mileage decline. On the track I typically got 2-5 MPG, before the turbo I would get 6-7 MPG.

It seems like it defeats the purpose of being an easy to use all-in-one meal replacement shake if you have to completely change it before consuming.

Sorry to hear you are disappointed with the product. What a bummer because I understand you want it to be worth your money. I would absolutely agree 100% that in it's purest form (mixed w/water and ice) it does not taste good. in fact it's gross! So my hope question is....did you get the recipes? If not ask your coach, especially since you are finishing the 30 days with it-dont' torture yourself! Cuz with the right ingredients it can be quite yummy! Although chocolate is my fave, the greenberry is really good with skim milk, a little strawberry yogurt, or a packet of crystal light mix! Of course I am writing this as a Beachbody coach, but I really do believe that this is a wonderful product, one of the reasons why I became a coach! Good luck!

Thanks for the review!

I used to work for a pharmaceutical company that supplied many of the base ingredients to companies such as BeachBody.

Granted that the extracts and enzymes used are quite common I am consistently surprised at the amount of hype that accompanies any of these products.

Upon looking at "The Science" portion of the site I am confronted by several categories of ingredients.

It's pretty clear from this list that Shakeology contains: Whey protein, Branched Chain Amino Acids, Papain, Bromelain, bifidus regularis, wheatgrass, blueberry power, and a simple concoction of Over the Counter (OTC) water soluble vitamins (B & C).

The end-user could make a delicious homebrew concoction to the same ends by simply mixing:

2 servings Vanilla Whey Protein powder
1 serving flax seed
1 serving wheat grass powder
1 can blueberry yogurt
1/2 cup ice
1/2 cup skim milk
1 drop papain liquid meat tenderizer, or a tiny pinch of it in pure powered form.

Blend until smooth and enjoy!

Its useful to a FI RX8 in higher gears, mostly in 4th, 5th, 6th.

In lower gears you have so much torque it is very difficult to take off without only spinning the wheels.

My RX8 was turbo'ed with the Esmeril Kit and putting down roughly 320 HP.
